Warren is the founder, commander of WKB Lawyers. Warren started this firm because he saw a genuine need for consumers to access specialised Total and Permanent Disability (“TPD”) lawyers who have only practiced in this area of law. In starting the firm, Warren set out to make TPD a relevant practice area and not some side area whose lawyers did not specialise in TPD claims, as he found working in Personal Injury firms.
Warren is a very experienced TPD lawyer, having experience working on both sides of the fence and has worked in TPD for over 16 years. He is very passionate when it comes to protecting his client’s rights.
In his spare time, Warren enjoys spending time with his family, exercising and watching basketball.
Jesicca Yousif
Partner- Sydney Office
TPD Specialist
Jesicca joined WKB Lawyers as a Partner and brings with her a determination to help others especially at those critical moments in their lives where many find themselves unable to work or undertake activities of daily living because of injury or illness.
Jesicca graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW, is a member of the Law Society of NSW and is registered as a practitioner in the High Court of Australia registry.
Since entering the legal profession, Jesicca has gained exposure to various areas of law including insurance, personal injury, immigration, conveyancing, banking and finance.
Jesicca has worked solely in insurance claim matters for several years now. Her passion to help others is underpinned by the values of WKB Lawyers who are client focused and believe in achieving the best possible result for each client.
On a personal note, she values her faith, family, friends, and food and enjoys being outdoors.
Sanath Hettiarachchi

Sanath is a TPD lawyer having spent over a decade passionately working in the life insurance and superannuation industry. Having worked for both large plaintiff law firms and life insurers, Sanath brings a wealth of knowledge and unique perspective to his work, ensuring that he fights tirelessly for his clients when they are at their most vulnerable. Sanath has set favourable precedents with difficult claims, and this is demonstrated by his high-level commitment and care to his clients. Having been born in Sri Lanka and lived in many countries growing up, Sanath understands the importance of working with any cultural differences to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Sanath completed his Bachelor of Law and Justice at the University of Technology and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of QLD. He is an active member of the Queensland Law Society.
Outside of work, Sanath values time with family, enjoys travel, is an avid Formula 1 fan, and appreciates the tranquillity of gardening (especially if his wife or children including their fur baby help him). He lives life to the fullest and approaches life with a smile.
Julie Hayes
Practice Manager- Brisbane Office
Julie has joined the team of WKB Lawyers as Practice Manager and brings a wealth of knowledge in Office Management and Practice Management gaining invaluable experience from over 25+ years working in law firms from Top Tier to Boutique here in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast.
Julie likes to spend her weekends out on the water with family and friends and when not out on the water is throwing her hand at DIY home renovating.
Deni Beverley

Deni is a Team Leader working within our Superannuation and TPD team. With over a decade of experience in the Superannuation industry she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Holding a Diploma in Justice Administration and currently pursuing her Bachelor of Law, Deni has been instrumental in navigating complex claims and securing successful outcomes for her clients.
Since joining the industry in 2013, Deni has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence and client advocacy. Her strong drive and passion for her work are evident in every case she handles.
Outside of work, Deni enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Hunter McInnes

Hunter is an experienced personal injury and TPD lawyer with 40+ years’ experience in New South Wales and Queensland . Originally from country NSW, Hunter undertook his studies at Sydney Uni and UTS and early training in Sydney in Union based Law with a focus on personal injury. Relocating over a decade ago to Queensland Hunter worked with the Union movement in Brisbane and a number of regional centres including Cairns, Rockhampton and Gladstone representing injured clients before settling back in Brisbane and joining WKB Lawyers.
Ah Hae Woo

Ah Hae is a Senior Associate specialising in Superannuation and Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) insurance. She is passionate about helping injured or ill clients claim benefits that they are rightly entitled to, to be of assistance through their physical, mental and financial adversities.
Ah Hae graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts/Laws and admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW. Since joining the legal profession, she has gained extensive experience in personal injury and insurance.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, pilates and exploring new restaurants
Angela Noble

Angela is a Senior Paralegal/Consultant working within our superannuation team. She runs your TPD claim from initial enquiry to claim decision. Angela is kind, empathic and very approachable. She is happy to answer any questions and provide support during our client’s most difficult times.
Angela holds a Certificate III in Business Administration (Legal). I have been working in different aspects of law since 2009 and has been solely working for leading Law Firms in superannuation and insurance claims since 2012. I have widespread experience in Income Protection, TPD, Trauma and Death claims.
Tarah Rozario

Tarah is a Senior Law Clerk working in our Brisbane Head Office where she finds great satisfaction in helping her client’s navigate unfamiliar insurance claim processes. She has over eleven years’ experience in the legal profession, and has been exclusively focused on insurance claim matters for the last eight years.
Tarah holds a Bachelor of Justice from the Queensland University of Technology, and is currently in the process of completing a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. She is passionate in advocating for her clients against unscrupulous insurers and seeing them through to a positive outcome.
When not at work, you will find Tarah with her family, friends and beloved Springer Spaniel enjoying the beautiful Queensland Coast, or spending time at her local Muay Thai Gym.

Andrea Stevenson has been in the Life Insurance Industry for over 40 years, and 12 of those years has been as an Advocate Specialist working within the large insurance Companies.
Being an Advocate Specialist allows Andrea who specialises in complex matters provide exceptional advice and service.
Andrea understands that it is a difficult time completing Insurance claim forms, waiting outcomes she is there to help you every step of the way, provide updates and communicate effectively.
Andrea understands the claims process, including declined claims and requesting reviews.
Sally Hampstead

Sally Hampstead is a Paralegal working within our Superannuation and TPD Team at WKB Lawyers. She has been working in plaintiff personal injury law firms for 30+ years, with 11 years working exclusively on Total and Permanent Disablement, Income Protection, Terminal Illness and Death Benefit Claims.
Sally works in the Superannuation and TPD Team alongside Jesicca Yousif, a Partner in our Sydney office. Sally assists with all aspects of Total and Permanent Disablement Claims, Income Protection Claims, Terminal Illness Claims and Death Benefit Claims from the initial stages of preparing claim forms through to lodgment and decision.
Caitlin Farrant

Caitlin has returned to the team at WKB Lawyers as Senior Law Clerk within the Superannuation and TPD team. In 2022 she graduated from the University of Southern Queensland with a Juris Doctor and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Social Science from the University of Queensland. Caitlin has worked in insurance for 3 years and is passionate about obtaining positive outcomes for her clients.
When Caitlin isn’t working, she is testing new recipes in the kitchen or out sailing on Moreton Bay.

Nektaria Rice
Law Clerk- Sydney Office
Nektaria is a Law Clerk within our Superannuation and Insurance team. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce and has intentions of becoming admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Under the leadership of Partner Jesicca Yousif, Nektaria is responsible for managing Total and Permanent Disablement, Income Protection and Permanent Incapacity claims, from initial enquiry through to resolution. She finds this area of law very rewarding as she can assist people with an enduring illness or injury receive the insured benefits they are entitled to.
Nektaria appreciates the intricate nuances involved in the claims process and is committed to ensuring each claim progresses seamlessly and achieves a successful outcome for her client.
Estelle Lim
Paralegal – Sydney Office
Estelle is a paralegal and secretary for Senior Associate Ah Hae Woo. She has worked in various law firms both in overseas and Australia for more than 30 years.
Estelle graduated from University of London with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and practised as a lawyer in overseas for 11 years before she came to Australia.
She assists Ah Hae with all aspects of insurance and/or or superannuation claims from the initial inquiry to the completion of claims. She believes every individual who has a potential claim against an insurance company should be given a chance to pursue their claim and she will walk an extra mile to make that happen for you.
Estelle likes to spend time with her family and friends and walk her pet dog on days not work

Brooke is a dedicated paralegal working with our Superannuation and TPD claims team, on the verge of completing her Bachelor of Law at Southern Cross University. Her empathetic approach to the emotionally charged nature of the work at WKB reflects her commitment to the profession.

Elodie Hilless-Brown

Elodie is a Paralegal working at the Brisbane office, within the superannuation and TPD claims team. Elodie is the first point of contact for clients, handling new enquiries, and is passionate about helping people understand an unfamiliar process.
Elodie is in the process of studying her Bachelor of Law (Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology. Outside of work, Elodie finds happiness in exploring scenic running destinations, and discovering new coffee shops.
Olivia Fichera

Olivia is a Paralegal based in the Brisbane office, where she specialises with the superannuation and TPD claims enquiry team. As the primary point of contact for clients, she manages new inquiries and is enthusiastic about guiding people through foreign processes.
Olivia is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at Queensland University of Technology. When Olivia isn’t working, she finds herself going to the beach and watching the Brisbane Broncos with her friends and family.
Lauren Ghandour

Lauren is a Law Clerk within our Superannuation and Total Permanent Disability (TPD) division. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Law, her passion lies in utilising legal expertise to assist those who have suffered injuries or illnesses.
With a keen interest in personal injury law, Lauren anticipates graduating in July 2024 and aims to be admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales by the end of the same year. Mariam has joined the team of WKB Lawyers as our dedicated Administration Assistant. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business, Mariam seeks to be admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
